Previous owner removed the factory roof rack and installed a rhino rack system which attaches to the gutters.

Noticed that many (but not all) of the roof rack holes were covered in what appeared to be clear tape. The tape had gunk around the edges of the tape, which makes me think that the tape has been in place for a while.

Figured with winter coming that I should fill the rest of the holes.

Went on Amazon and found the best reviewed clear tape I could find. The stuff I got is the same brand of gaffer tape that I’ve bought previously, which I have really liked.

I wiped off the roof with a microfiber/water, and then a little microfiber/alcohol. The tape is really thick and seemed to go on well.

I hope it works.
